In the wastes of a fallen world, a talentless music student joins up with a marauding set of desert Warriors on a quest to combat an ancient evil. As he participates their mission, he realizes that its history goes much deeper than expected. Ravaged settlements, desert demons, lonesome duels and old-world gods create a World for both mystics and cynics. Nothing is impossible, but only one fate is unavoidable.
Prelude plays as an interactive novel. Players read an unfolding, branching story and make key choices for dialogue and action. Causality is key as every choice impacts the overarching plot. The characters evolve with the story, shifting motivations and alliances depending on the story’s branch. Make your choices carefully as every decision will carry over into future episodes. All players who acquire a copy via IndieVania will receive subsequent episodes for free.
